I like his stance! For the record, this King is a devout Muslim.
If we all threw our problems in a pile, and you saw everyone else's problems-- you'd take yours back.

That's probably one bear they are going to regret they poked.

The guy is total class in my book.
Their military is trained by the U.S. and the Brits and they're Special Forces are bad ass! Prolly 99% of their equipment is US/Brit also.
Back in the day, I was tied up with the Vietnamese mission, but had a buddy who was working the "Yom Kipper" Mission (Arab-Israeli War). What it all really boiled down to was the U.S. against the Soviet Union and if it had dragged out much longer, we'd have had two nuclear super-powers going toe to toe. Anyway, at that time, the Jordanians had a pretty crappy military and the Soviets didn't really help with any training improvements. Heck, Jordan was a sitting duck with a shitty military ... sandwiched between Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Israel! Heck, to make matters worse, they don't have any oil!
Abdullah II is the best thing that ever happened to that country and has quite a history if anyone cares to read up on him. One thing he believes in is a strong military and he has no qualms about using it. ISIS has him pissed off. The execution of that Jordanian pilot reminds me of Pearl Harbor and ISIS should be repeating Yamamoto's words right about now ... "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
