    Speaking of Jiggery Pokery

That's just what the Cards did to the Cubs the last three nights. Good to see Heyward hitting well. Hope its not a fluke. His batting stance and physique so remind me of Dave Winfield. Oh that he could be that guy for the Birds.

Good to see Scruggs scragging pitching too. We have a pretty tight bench this year! Especially when Holliday gets back and somebody has to sit and somebody has to go down.

    I sure miss Descalso.

He is alive. Makes $1.3M, or about twice your last salary, to play two innings every 19 days for the Rockies. Go visit your daughter and watch him, and buy his jersey and take a pitcher.

Garcia is the new Descalso. Kozma is being shopped to be traded.

HEY! I missed a dig, sorry!

Should have added "two innings every 19 innings is about what you worked when you made that salary, Mr. Manager".

HAHAHA. I crack myself up. Just getting slower.

The Cards have sure been a juggernaut this year. Musta been all that data they hacked from the Astros. My Nats have been hit hard by the injury bug this year and I'm surprised they've done as well as they have. I'm taking that for a good sign and hoping they get healthy for the second half.

Just by pure randomness and some terrible weather here this weekend I watched parts of both Field of Dreams and The Natural. Man, I love baseball.

Barry, obviously you are a seagull hater or you'd never again want anyone like Dave Winfield.
