Squall line that hit us last night.

About 4PM yesterday this came across the lake, rain and 70 mph winds, tore up our little town pretty bad with trees down and power out.
We had branches down and kept our power but #2 family spent the night with us because they were without power and a large tree lay across their driveway. Thousands without electricity and will take about a week to clean up the mess.
You see this coming, you take cover.

We got storms last night but nothing too severe.

We had a cloud like that go through here a couple weeks ago while I was working at our County Fair. It was probably the scariest looking cloud formation that I had ever seen.

I almost called. But all I had was your cell. I was driving across I-40 and heard "Traverse City was just hit hard" on the radio.

Holy crap! There there is a shelf cloud. I don't think I'd be able to stop taking pictures, honestly. Glad you're all ok!

Dang JB. Glad y'all are OK. That is a bad looking dude!
I was in a boat fishing the Pamlico once and had one of those squalls come across. We did our best to out run it but got caught in it the last mile or so.
I got some good pictures of that cloud around here somewhere.

Glad you're okay chief! That's a storm and a half!

You get those in August much? Must've been quite the cold front.

Another great picture. Cell phones have made events like this pretty interesting.

    .
I wouldn't mind a little of that rain, but none of the bad wind....it's hotter than Bucky's trailer bearings, down here.

I might hafta resort to this:

Glad to hear you came out alright but bad weather aside those are some AMAZING photos.

We had CRAZY, nasty winds here last week too with the peak gust recorded at the airport of 67 mph. North of town a ways it reached 76 mph. We got lucky too as we had one of the big evergreens that are right beside our house break off and land within 3 feet of the house.

    Crazy weather for sure.
