    Six more today.

Without those tough laws, might have been 600 of course!!! Yep, that's the logic!

As for Chicago, as long as it's just gang-bangers shooting gang-bangers ... no prob, let 'em thin out the ranks!

We put up a fiber route right of way sign once very near our downtown terminal. Within twenty four hours it must have had 100 bullet holes in it, some of them obviously shotgun slugs. And this was VERY near downtown. And this was also in about 1988. So its been a fucked up mess there way before their stupid gun laws.

I always wondered though how anyone coupd fire that many rounds in downtown chicago and not excite any interest.

And no, the gun laws haven't helped. They almost never do. I think more cops is the only answer in places like that.

I don't know the answer. I don't think there is one, really. Whatever the population is, there'd have to be 50% cops to be effective. These guys are GOING to shoot each other, forever, amen. With stolen guns, not bought legally, in stolen cars (see the URL I posted!), and they are going to shoot often. I think if you went up there with a Uhaul full of firewood and bullets, you'd be rich. Then dead.
