Pretty kool. When I was at 42 Radar Sq. at Cold Lake Ab. back in the early '70's we were pretty good at tracking the various bird flocks (duck, geese, cranes, pelicans etc.). Cold Lake AFB was/is a fighter training base so lots of landings and takeoffs and the birds were a problem. We would let them know when the density got to an unsafe point and they would suspend ops. Used to see the entire screen covered in huge bird flocks.
