I've eaten a lot of squirrel, but it was always just too damned stringy for me. And dark. Beef is about the only dark red meat that I like to be honest. And of course, venison. I can do some damage to some government goat. But squirrel just never floated my boat. I mainly ate 'em because I loved to hunt them as a boy. We used to have arguments over whether it was sporting to hunt them with a shotgun.
