    Absolutely beautiful weather here....

We are at the lakehouse, this weekend, doing some spring cleaning....had some down time, so I baited up my yoyos, then loaded up my j'boat, and tried the crappie for a while....water still a little too cold for them to move into the shallows.

But, the fidlers were tearing up my yoyos....put up 3 quarts of steaks and fillets in the freezer, so far....gonna try the crappie, again, tomorrow.

Fiddlers? It's been beautiful here, too. I've had the windows in the house open and the top off the Jeep all weekend.

I bet they're nice and crunchy like the legs on a soft crab. Still oyster season here and I've been making a pig of myself.

Lynn is a tail eater ... my tastes are a bit more refined. My brother and SIL were in town this weekend (leaving today) and we went out to eat yesterday afternoon. I suggested heading over to the sponge docks for some Greek food. They were all for it ... well, my brother was anyway.

I had my usual ... one of my favorites. The last time I had octopus was a few months ago in Athens. This was just as good!

Thump looks like that prison warden in Shawshank Redemption....except, maybe somewhat "fluffier"....no, a LOT fluffier.
