I guess we live in different worlds. In my world 90% of the serious hospitalizations are from unvaccinated people. Yes, mild covid is more prevalent with omicron cases, efficacy in the vaccinated drops down to near 50%. But look at hospitalizations. The vaccines do protect from serious disease. At least in my world they do. And the dataalso shows younger unvaccinated people are dying.

As far as the military goes, there is no argument whatsoever. All the branches are reporting north of 97% vaccination rates. And no, you have no freedom of choice about vaccinations in the military. The AF has discharged about 27 people, the Marines 103. Theother branches are just beginning to report. I suppose that left and right. But its a non issue. Get the vax or get out has always been the policy. There’s no way to maintain readinessotherwise.

And Willy, i hear you about the money being made off of covid. How much do you think has been made from opioids? How much from diabetes treatments? How much from epi pens? But that’s capitalism. Lets protect our medical system from mean old socialism so those companies can gouge us. After all, y’all have said all along that without those incentives, there wouldn’t be theresearch needed for our medicines to be the best.
And yet, we get a vaccine injust a year with those oncentives and now its all bad old money causing the problems.

Yes. We live in different worlds. At least it seems so.

What happened to “My body, my choice”? Or does that only apply to women and abortion?

Lame argument and not really related imho. I'm not going to get knocked up by sitting next to a pregnant woman in a restaurant.

Yep, it applies to women and abortion. How’s that?

You’re a LEO. Should it apply to seatbelts and motorcycle helmets? Why should I care if you want to kill yourself by not wearing one or the other? Now, speeding, wreckless driving, dwi, etc, are a different story. Ones choice there could end up killing ME! Or my family. The unvaccinated can affect my family and me. THAT is a whole ‘nuther story.
